![]() STOTAN -- Existentialism - A teaching rubric. Rob O'Brien Adult Published Read an Excerpt Bare bones frame of Rob O'Brien's original teaching rubric for using ATHLETIC SHORTS to explore existentialism. It's not complete, by any stretch, but it's the best Rob and I could do. He was a trooper, responding after all these years. Thanks Rob. When you e-mailed me this morning, I had just started reading Sledding the Hill, the first of his books I have read in a while. I was remembering the e-mail conversations he and I had about the existentialism thing about five years ago. Then you e-mail me! Pretty freaky, huh? Anyway, I don't teach English anymore, so I didn't maintain that link. The WASL steered me to teaching history five years ago. I will see if I can dig up the text that I used to have posted on that website. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it [mailto: This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it ] Sent: Wed 10/5/2005 9:19 AM To: Robert Obrien Subject: From the SHARE Site Rob, what happened to your Stotan study guide? Existentialism in STOTAN! NEW! by Rob'Obrian, West Valley High School http://share105.esd105.wednet.edu/Public/SHARE.cfm?Id_TCHR=81 I had it posted on Chris Crutcher's website, the link, and now it's gone. Can I use the text instead of the link for other teachers who might want it? Thanks. Kelly |
